Written tests for 38th BCS begin Wednesday

Candidates for the 38th Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) written examinations will not be allowed to carry any kind of watches, books, calculators and other electronic tools during the tests, scheduled to begin from Wednesday (Aug 8).

Bangladesh Public Service Commission (BPSC) issued a press release on Tuesday asking the examinees not to bring items including watches, mobile phones, electronic devices, calculator, papers, books, bank credit cards or anything akin to it and bags in the exam halls, local media reports said.

A sufficient number of watches will be provided in all examination halls for the candidates to see the time, it added.

The aspirants will not be allowed to cover their ears as well as to wear any kind of ornaments.

According to the notice, violators of the rules will have their instruments seize, even their candidacy might be cancelled and declared unqualified for other recruiting tests of the PSC. 

The written test for compulsory subjects of the 38th BCS is going to take place from Aug 8 to Aug 13 and tests for the optional subjects will be held on the first week of September.
