Bangladesh Railway will start selling advance tickets from Aug 8 ahead of the holy Eid-ul-Azha. The advance ticket sale will continue till Aug 12, local media reports said citing rail ministry sources.
Advance tickets for travelling on Aug 17, 18, 19, 20 and 21 will be sold on Aug 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12 respectively, the sources said.
The tickets will be sold from Dhaka and Chattogram railway stations. For the upcoming Eid-ul-Azha this year, nine pair of special trains will be in service.
The holy Eid-ul-Azha is expected to observe on Aug 22 in Bangladesh.
