The primer will attend a bilateral meeting with her Canadian counterpart apart from meeting with other G-7 leaders, and other world leaders participating in the outreach meeting.

Foreign Minister A H Mahmood Ali disclosed reporters about Bangladesh PM's Canada visit at a press briefing at the foreign ministry on Tuesday (Jun 5), local media reports said.

The theme of this year’s outreach session is “Healthy, productive, and resilient oceans, and seas, coasts, and communities”, where Hasina will speak on “strengthening resilience through integrated adaptation planning, emergency preparedness, and recovery”, among other subjects.

At the bilateral meeting with the Canadian PM, Hasina will discuss many important bilateral issues including trade, and investment, helping each other to attain sustainable development, regular political consultations, and to help each other in the sector of blue economy. They will also discuss about Rohingya issue.
