Swosti introduces paperless micro-credit system in BD

For the first time in Bangladesh, Swosti Ltd. introduces ‘Swosti-mfi247’, a paperless micro-credit system. It is an online, fully automated, paperless micro-credit and savings management ERP application for NGO-MFIs and credit cooperative societies in Bangladesh. With ‘Swosti-mfi247’ field-level staffs of an MFI or credit cooperative society will be able to insert transaction data through her mobile apps instantly in the field.

After inserting data, field-staffs no more require to prepare any manual vouchers and all reports are generated instantly. With this automated system, an MFI or credit cooperative will be able to reduce operational cost and increase efficiency in the field and head office level.

Swosti Ltd., a sister concern of Bdjobs.com Ltd., has signed a Business Finance for the Poor in Bangladesh (BFP-B) grant contract with Nathan Associates London Ltd. – an authorized agent of the Department for International Development (DFID) – for the development of this fully automated, paperless microcredit and savings management application. This signing ceremony took place at Bdjobs.com board room on Monday (May 14).
