Chief Adviser of the interim government Professor Dr. Muhammad Yunus on Friday (May 30) received an Honorary Doctorate Degree from Soka University. He was conferred the honorary degree in recognition of his contributions to social innovation and global development.
Muhammad Yunus also delivered an address to a distinguished audience at Soka University in Tokyo. President of Soka University Suzuki also spoke on the occasion.
Wrapping up his Japan visit, the chief adviser will depart Tokyo for Singapore enroute to Dhaka on Saturday morning by a Singapore Airlines flight. He is expected to reach home late at night on the day.
On May 27, Dr. Yunus arrived in Tokyo on a four-day Japan tour.
