The 'Shobar Agey Bangladesh' Foundation, a pro-BNP social and cultural organization, has temporarily postponed 'Swadhinata Concert' in protest of the killings in Gaza strip.
Expressing solidarity with the oppressed people in Gaza and Rafah, Sobar Agey Bangladesh Foundation President Shahid Uddin Chowdhury Anee and General Secretary Rakibul Islam Bakul confirmed matter in a statement on Monday (Apr 7) night. They also strongly protested the Israeli aggression in Gaza, said the statement.
Earlier, the foundation decided to hold the 'Swadhinata Concert' at four venues including Dhaka, Chattogram, Khulna and Bogura simultaneously on Saturday (Apr 12), instead of the earlier date of Friday (Apr 11), to support protests against mass killings in the Gaza Strip.
