After 42 matches over more than a month, the Bangladeshr Pemier League (BPL) T20 has reached the playoffs stage, with four teams out of seven remaining in the title race.
There have been some controversies during the 11th edition of the franchise Twenty20 league. However, the actions on the ground have been quite impressive, courtesy of sporting pitches prepared across three venues.
Defending champions Fortune Barishal topped the league-stage table and booked a place in the First Qualifier. They will be facing Chittagong Kings, who have not only made it to the top two, but also unseated early pace-setters Rangpur Riders.
Rangpur had won their first eight games but then had a four-match losing streak, finishing for a place in the Eliminator where they will meet Khulna Tigers, who took the fourth spot at the expense of Durbar Rajshahi.
