Bayern Munich’s Michael Olise netted a second-half double as it came back from conceding an early goal to win 5-1 against Shakhtar Donetsk in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday (Dec 10) to earn its first away victory in this season’s competition. Bayern’s third successive win moves it up to eighth into the automatic qualification places on 12 points, while Shakhtar is 27th with four points, three points off the playoffs.
Bayern Munich came from behind to thrash Shakhtar Donetsk and boost their chances of reaching the Champions League last 16.
Brazilian forward Kevin put hosts Shakhtar in front with just five minutes gone, curling beautifully into the far corner for his first goal in the competition.

France forward Olise, who joined from Crystal Palace in the summer, rounded off the scoring with a fine individual effort, beating several players before wrong-footing the goalkeeper and sliding into an open goal.
Bayern have moved up to eighth in the standings, with Feyenoord and Slovan Bratislava still to come in January. Shakhtar sit 27th and round off their campaign against Brest and Borussia Dortmund next month.
