The Bangladesh Cricket Board on Wednesday (Nov 20) handed over a cheque of BDT 20 lac to Bangladesh women's football team for their recent SAFF Women's Championship triumph.
BCB president Faruque Ahmed handed over the cheque to women's team captain Sabina Khatun. BCB Directors Nazmul Abedeen, Fahim Sinha and women's football team manager Mahmuda Akter were present during the event.
Team Bangladesh clinch the regional title for the second consecutive time in Kathmandu last month beating the hosts Nepal 2-1 in the final.
