All government, semi-government, autonomous, semi-autonomous and private offices will return to usual time from Wednesday (Jul 31). The Ministry of Public Administration issued the instructions in this regard on Tuesday (Jul 30).
All banks will also run their operations as per their normal schedule – 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. – from Wednesday. Bangladesh Bank issued a circular in this regard. As per the regular schedule, transactions will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
However, the banks will remain open until 6 p.m. to conduct post-trading activities.
