Bangladesh government has declared "mourning day" Thursday (Mar 15) following the casualties in the US-Bangla Airlines plane crash in Kathmandu, Nepal on Monday (Mar 12). The decision was taken at an emergency meeting held at the Prime Minister's Office today with PM Sheikh Hasina in the chair, local media reports said.
According to the decision, Doa and prayers meeting will be held at all religious institutions and places of worship including mosques, temples and churches and pagodas across the country on Friday (Mar 16).
At least 50 people were killed as the US-Bangla Airlines aircraft crashed and burst into flames while landing at Trivubhan International Airport in Kathmandu on Monday afternoon.
