Dhaka metro rail service suspended on Oct 14-15

Commercial operation of the Metro Rail on MRT Line-6 from Uttara to Agargaon section will remain suspended on Oct 14 and 15 for integrating the system with the Agargaon-Motijheel section. The commercial run of metro trains from Uttara North to Agargaon section will remain suspended on Oct 14 and 15, 2023, for the system integration between Uttara to Agargaon and Agargaon to Motijheel sections of the MRT Line-6 (Metrorail), DMTCL said in a press release on Tuesday (Oct 10).

The metro rail service will also remain closed on Oct 13 (Friday) as usual like other weekend.

The Dhaka Mass Transit Company Limited (DMTCL) expressed regret and sorrow for the temporary inconvenience to the esteemed passengers traveling by Metrorail, the release said.

The metro service will resume on Uttara Uttar to Agargaon section from Oct 16 as per the previous schedule.
