Mild tremor jolts parts of the country

A 4.2 magnitude earthquake struck different parts of the country including the capital around 12:49 p.m. on Sunday (Sep 17). The epicenter of the tremor was located at Tangail, 59 km North-North West from BMD Seismic Centre in city's Agargaon, said a Bangladesh Meteorological Department release.

However, no casualty was reported.
