Mild heat wave may continue

Mild heat wave is sweeping over many places of the country and it may continue and spread, said a weather forecast issued by the Bangladesh Metrology Department on Wednesday (Apr 26).

Mild heat wave is sweeping over the districts of Chattogram, Rangamati, Feni, Cox's Bazar, Bandarban and Patuakhali and it may continue and spread, said the bulletin valid for the next 24 hours commencing 9 a.m.

Weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country, it added.

Day and night temperature may rise by 1-2 dergree celcius over the country.

The country's maximum temperature on Tuesday was recorded 37.7 degrees Celsius at Bandarban while minimum temperature 19.2 degree Celsius was recorded at Tetulia.

No rainfall recorded across the country during the last 24 hours.
