The government has adjusted the electricity price upward at the retail level. The new power tariff will come into effect from Mar 1. The Ministry of Power, Energy and Mineral Resources issued a circular in this regard on Tuesday (Feb 28) evening.
According to the gazette, the price was adjusted upward trend by five percent at the retail level.
