85.95pc pass HSC, equivalent exams; 1,76,282 get GPA-5

A total of 85.95 percent students, on an average, passed the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent examinations-2022 held under 11 education boards in the country.

Among the passed candidates, a total of 1,76,282 got GPA-5 (maximum grade point average) in the examinations, Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni told a press conference at International Mother Language Institute in Dhaka on Wednesday (Feb 8), local media reported.

Among the examinees, 10,11,987 students have been successful in the HSC and equivalent examinations.

A total of 11,77,387 students appeared in this year's examinations.
