Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni on Sunday (Jul 17) said this year's postponed Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations will begin across the country on Sep 15.
“This year's postponed Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations will begin on September 15 while the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent examinations will begin in November,” she said.
The minister disclosed the matter at a press conference held at the conference room of the Ministry of Education, local media reported.
The SSC and equivalent examinations were scheduled to start from Jun 19. However, the Ministry of Education announced the suspension of the SSC and equivalent examinations on Jun 17 due to severe flood-situation that prevailed in various parts of the country including Sylhet and Sunamganj.
