A mild earthquake jolted parts of northern Bangladesh on Saturday (Jan 20). The tremor, measuring 4.6 magnitude on the Richter scale, was felt around 7:15 a.m. in the northern district, according to Met Office.
The epicenter of the earthquake was in Assam in India, some 272 kilometres north of Dhaka's earthquake observatory, according to Met office.
However, no casualty was reported when the reports was filed by the local media.
