A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Centre for Advanced Research in Sciences (CARS) of Dhaka University (DU) and the Department of Laboratory Medicine of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) was signed at the Vice-Chancellor's lounge on the campus.
Treasurer of DU Professor Dr Md Kamal Uddin and Treasurer of BSMMU Prof Dr Ali Asgar Moral signed the MoU on behalf of their respective universities, a press release said on Tuesday (Jan 16).
DU VC Prof Dr Md Akhtaruzzaman, Director of the Centre for Advanced Research in Sciences Prof Dr Golam Mohammad Bhuiyan, Laboratory Medicine Department Chairman, BSMMU Prof Dr Md Quddusur Rahman and Acting Registrar of DU Md Enamuzzaman were present, among others, on the occasion.
According to the MoU, DU CARS and BSMMU Laboratory Medicine Department will exchange research facilities mutually in their laboratories.
