The gala awards ceremony of 18th PRAN National Pickle Competition-2017 and daylong Achar Utsab (Pickle Fair) will be held on Friday (Jan 19) at Bangabandhu International Conference Center, said a press release.
Like previous years, a total of 12 women in the four categories -- sweet, sour, hot and others -- will be awarded. Moreover, “Pickle of the Year” will be nominated among the four categories. All winners will be awarded with attractive prizes.
Various pickles and foods items to eat with pickles made by culinary and chutney specialists will be available in the pickle fair. Various food items and household products will also be displayed there.
The program will be open to all from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
