Mild to moderate cold wave is sweeping over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, Mymensingh and Khulna divisions and the region of Srimangal. According to the forecast of meteorological department on Thursday (Jan 4) the cold wave may continue and spread over adjacent areas.
Moderate to thick fog may occur at places over the country during mid-night till morning. Night temperature may fall slightly and day temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country. Weather may remain dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country.
The lowest temperature of today was recorded 6.5 degree Celsius at Chuadanga and the highest temperature of Wednesday was recorded 26.2 degree Celsius at Hatia and Bhola.
