JU imposes temporary ban on visitors entry

The authorities of Jahangirnagar University have imposed ban on the entry of visitors on the campus for six days. JU registrar Abu Bakr Siddique confirmed this on Monday (Dec 25).

A press release was issued saying that the entry of visitors for any purpose such as study tour and any kind of shooting would be remained prohibited from Dec 25 to Dec 30 on the campus for the senate election scheduled to be held on Dec 30.

The release also said that during the election, the movement of rickshaws would be prohibited from new Arts Building to university main entrance.
