India-Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IBCCI) have got new office bearers for the tenure of 2017-2019. Immediate Past President of FBCCI and Chairman of Nitol-Niloy Group Abdul Matlub Ahmad has been elected as the New President of the IBCCI at the election after held its 10th AGM in the city on Sunday, said a press release.
Chief Executive Officer of HSTC Limited, M Shoeb Chowdhury and Country Manager of Asian Consumer Care (Pvt) Ltd Sanjay Kailash Munshi have been elected as Vice-Presidents.
The others office bearers of the 16-member committee, General Secretary Sanjeeb Kumar Roy, Joint Secretary Md Abdul Wahed and Treasurer Dewan Sultan Ahmed were also elected. The members are Abhijit Chakravorty of State Bank of India, Mohammad Ali of Fatullah Steel Re-Rolling Mills, Sanjay Pal of MRB Bangladesh Pvt Ltd, Jitendra Bahadur of Tata Motors Ltd, Farkhunda Jabeen Khan of MAKS Attire, Abhisek Das of Indofil Bangladesh Industries Pvt Ltd, Arup Dasgupta of Life Insurance Corporation BD Ltd, Meherun Nessa Islam of Conference and Exhibition Management Services Ltd, Tanvir Ahmed of Green Textile Ltd, and Venugopal Numbikkeril Chellappan Pillai of CEAT AK KHAN Limited. High Commissioner of India to Bangladesh is the Chief Patron of IBCCI.
