BNP 'protest' on Wednesday

Bangladesh Nationalist Party has announced a countrywide protest programme for Wednesday (Dec 13), against the price hike of essential commodities, electricity and other issues. BNP senior joint secretary general Ruhul Kabir Rizvi announced the programmes at an emergency press conference at the party's Nayapaltan central office on Monday (Dec 11).

As part of the programmes, he said their all district and city units, except Rangpur city one, will hold either rallies or take out processions at their convenient time on Wednesday, according to a report.

However, this kind of protest programs of political parties largely rejected by mass people in recent days.
