The gloomy weather may start to improve gradually from the day after tomorrow but the light to moderate rain caused by the depression in the Bay is likely to continue over the country till Sunday (Dec 10), according to meteorologists.
The maritime ports have been advised to hoist local cautionary signal 3 as a low has formed over Bay of Bengal. Dhaka, including other parts of the country has received mild rainfall due to low pressure.

Light to moderate rain or showers accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind is likely to occur at most places over Rajshahi, Dhaka, Mymensingh, Khulna, Barisal, Chittagong and Sylhet divisions, and at many places over Rangpur division with heavy rains at some places over the country till 9 a.m. Sunday.
