The Department of Computer Science & Engineering and Science Club of Southeast University recently organized a Math Olympiad at it's Banani campus. A total of 75 students from different departments of SEU participated at this event.
Shahriar Manzoor, Advisor, Science Club and Assistant Professor and Chairman, Department of CSE, conferred the inaugural speech of the event. Prof. Syed Fakhrul Hassan, Chief Advisor, Science Club and Dean, School of Science & Engineering gave his speech to the participants. Maj Gen Kazi Fakhruddin Ahmed, SPP, psc (Retd.), Registrar, SEU, encouraged students to participate this type of events.
Winners collected their prizes and certificates from the honorable guests.
The top five scorers from this contest were selected to represent SEU in the upcoming 9th National Undergraduate Mathematics Olympiad 2017 which will be held in Dhaka University of Engineering & Technology, Gazipur in December.
