The preliminary examination of the 38th Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) will be held on Dec 29. A reliable source from Bangladesh Public Service Commission (PSC) confirmed about this information on Sunday (Dec 3). More than 3,46,000 candidates have applied to participate in 38th BCS preliminary examinations, according to sources.
The government published the circular to appoint 2,024 candidates in different cadres through the 38th BCS on Jun 20. The candidates applied for the test from July 10 to Aug 10.
The exams will also be held under newly formed Mymensingh Division. The candidates will be able to choose between Bangla and English as the language for the test.
