Southeast University (SEU) arranged a get together program for exchanging views with media persons on the occasion of 15th anniversary of the university on Thursday (Nov 16) at the seminar hall of SEU permanent campus at Tejgaon, Dhaka.
Md. Rezaul Karim, Chairman, Board of Trustees, Southeast University Trust, welcomed the media persons. He thanked them for their presence. In his welcome speech, he highlighted the views about the vision of Southeast University to become a world class university by 2030.
The Editors of different press and electronic media shared their opinions during the open discussion program. Golam Sarwar, Editor, the Daily Samakal, Imdadul Haque Milan, Editor of the Daily Kalerkantho, Z. I. Mamun, Chief News Editor, ATN Bangla, Dewan Hanif Mahmud, Editor, the Daily Bonik Barta delivered speeches at the program.
Prof. Dr. ANM Meshquat Uddin, Vice-Chancellor of SEU, delivered the concluding speech at the program. He conveyed the vote of thanks to the media persons for their heartiest co-operation to Southeast University from the very beginning.
He highlighted the major achievements of the university over the last 15 years and presented the future plan of activities. He invited all the media persons to attend the 15th Anniversary Celebration Program of Southeast University on Nov 22, 2017.
Among others, members, Board of Trustees, Southeast University Trust, Treasurer, Adviser to BOT, Registrar and high officials of SEU, were present at the program.
More than 70 media persons attended the program.
