A daylong job fair titled 'BUP Career and Education Fest-2017' organized by Career Club of Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP) in partnership with Pathao Bangladesh Ltd, was held recently at its campus in Mirpur Cantonment, aiming to job placement of the upcoming graduates.
The job fair was sponsored by Pine Solutions Ltd.
BUP Registrar Brig Gen Abul Kashem Md Ibrahim, ndc, afwc, psc, inaugurated the fair as the chief guest in presence of other BUP high officials, faculty members, officers, enthusiastic students and representatives from various companies.
The purpose of this fair is to give the students opportunity to learn as regards to potential employers, available opportunities and job related information. Besides, the companies also expected to provide full time job, part time job and internship to the graduates.
Sifat Hassan, Director, Human Resource and Culture, Pathao Bangladesh Limited, also attended the job fair as the special guest. A number of renowned companies of the country took part in the fest and collected resumes from the students.
A large number of students also were found to drop resumes through prodigious environment and interacted with different corporate high officials.
The organizations which took part in the fair showed visuals and distributed brochures to provide detailed information among BUP students.
