Workshop on mobile apps and outsourcing at UU

Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Uttara University (UU), arranged a daylong workshop on 'Mobile Apps & Outsourcing' on Saturday (Nov 4), at its campus.

The keynote speaker of the seminar was Md. Siddiqur Rahman, Additional Secretary, Ministry of Housing and Public Works, Government of People's Republic of Bangladesh.

The resource person of this workshop was Md. Shamim Towhid, Lecturer, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, UU. Md. Shafiul Alam Chowdhury, Chairman, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, of UU, chaired the program. He welcomed all the guests and participants to the workshop at the beginning of the program.

Professor Dr. Kazi Khairul Islam, Dean, School of Science & Engineering, UU, has given his speech and quoted, "Outsourcing through the development of mobile applications now an emerging sector nowadays among the freelancers. Freelancers have dramatically increased their income only because of their passion and practical experience in this sector. Thus they have also contributed to the overall financial growth of Bangladesh."

Keynote speaker shared his experience regarding this issue. He has been visited several countries and gathered experience regarding the fact that those countries have developed their overall quality of the IT sector with the current growth of technology.

So, freelancers can make our dreams to digitize Bangladesh with new changes of technology. The resource person Md. Shamim Towhid, Lecturer, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, UU, conducted the second session.

In his session, he tried to design a mobile apps named 'Car Racing'. All the participants followed his session properly and have tried to develop the game as per the instruction of resource person.

Among others, Professor Md. Shahnewaz Khan, Dr. Md. Mijanur Rahman, have given their speech to motivate the all participants to design and development of mobile applications.

All faculty members and few of students were the participants of the workshop. Md. Shafiul Alam Chowdhury, Chairman and program Chair has discussed the overall view before concluding this workshop.
