Narayanganj City Corporation (NCC) Mayor Selina Hayat Ivy got the status of deputy minister. Cabinet Division issued a notification Tuesday (Nov 7) in this regard, local media reports said.
Ivy will also get salary, allowance and other facilities equivalent to deputy minister as long as she serves as the mayor.
