Mobile internet services in the country have been resumed since Tuesday (Jan 1) morning after a suspension of about 37 hours. The Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC) has directed the mobile phone operators to restart the services at 10:30 a.m., said sources at the operators’ end.
On Dec 30, the telecom regulator suspended the services from 9:30 p.m., local media reported citing BTRC sources.
During the period, people were not able to use the internet on their phones, stream or upload pictures or videos.
