An orientation program for welcoming the freshers of Summer and Fall Semester 2017 of the department of EEE of Uttara University (UU) was organized on Saturday (Nov 4) at the university premises.
H. T. Imam, Political Adviser to the Prime Minister, Govt. of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, graced the program as the chief guest. Professor Dr. M. Azizur Rahman, Vice-Chancellor and Professor Dr. Eaysmin Ara Lekha, Pro-Vice-Chancellor, Uttara University, attended the program as the special guests.
Professor Dr. Kazi Khairul Islam, Dean, School of Science & Engineering, Uttara University, delivered welcome speech at the program.
The guest of honor, Professor Dr. Md. Shafiqul Islam, Advisor, Dept. of EEE & CSE, Uttara University, delivered his speech.
The chief guest given his significant and inspirational speech to the newly admitted students of EEE Dept. and the students were motivated by His Excellency’s Speech.
The VC handed over a crest of honor to the chief guest H. T. Imam at the programe.
Dr. Md. Shakowat Zaman Sarker, Associate Professor and Chairman, dept. of EEE, conveyed his gratitude and special thanks to everyone for participating and making the orientation program a success.
