Chief Election Commissioner K M Nurul Huda will announce the schedule for the 11th parliamentary election on Nov 8.
The CEC will address the nation on the day on this occasion, Election Commissioner Brig Gen (retd) Shahadat Hossain Chowdhury told reporters at a press conference at the commission secretariat this evening.
Earlier in the day, the CEC held a meeting with commissioners at the commission office to fix the date to announce the schedule for the next parliamentary polls, local media reports said.
