Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina inaugurated the 4th ‘National Development Fair 2018’ (Unnyana Mela) countrywide in a bid to showcase progress of her administration.
The premier inaugurated the three-day Unnyana Mela through a videoconferencing from her Gonobhaban residence on Thursday (Oct 4), local media reports said.
A total of 500 venues across the countries, including all districts, upazilas headquarters and union digital centers, exhibit the fair.
Jatiya Sangsad Speaker Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury, Agriculture Minister Matia Chowdhury, and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader were present on the occasion.
The Unnyana Mela will end on Oct 6.
