Alexis Sanchez scored one and set up another as Manchester United ended their pre-season tour of America with a 2-1 victory over Real Madrid in Miami on Tuesday (Jul 31).
Manchester United's miserable pre-season campaign hit an unlikely high in Miami as they beat Real Madrid 2-1 in their final International Champions Cup clash.
After three consecutive draws in the US, Man United bucked that trend with a 4-1 defeat to rivals Liverpool at the Michigan Stadium on Saturday - and Jose Mourinho had caused a stir by hitting out at the club over transfers, as well as criticising his own players.
However, goals from Alexis Sanchez and Ander Herrera put United ahead, and Real were unable to find a route back into the game despite Karim Benzema's goal on the stroke of half-time.
