The online application process of admission in first year honours course of Dhaka University under 2018-2019 academic session will start on Jul 31. The public relations office of DU made the disclosure at a press release on Monday (Jul 16).
According to the press release, online application process will begin from 5:30 p.m. on Jul 31 and continue till 12:00 a.m. on Aug 26.
The decision was made in a DU admission committee meeting, chaired by DU Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr Md Akhtaruzzaman, held at the Nabab Nawab Ali Chowdhury Senate Building.
Pro-Vice Chancellor (Education) Prof Dr Nasreen Ahmad, Pro-vice Chancellor (Administration) Prof Dr Muhammad Samad, Treasurer Prof Dr Md Kamal Uddin, Convener of Online Admission Committee Prof Dr Md Hasibur Rashid, deans of various faculties, chairmen of various departments, directors of various institutes, acting registrars, and the proctor were present at the meeting.
It was decided on the meeting that admission test for DU’s ‘Ka’ unit will be held on Sep 28, ‘Kha’ unit will be on Sep 21, ‘Ga’ unit on Sep 14, ‘Gha’ unit on Oct 12, ‘Cha’ unit (general knowledge) on Sep 15 and ‘Cha’ unit (drawing) on Sep 22.
The details about the admission process will be informed on DU website and notification.
