Ruling Bangladesh Awami League will accord mass reception on Jul 21 to its President, and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina for her leadership, and achievement in uplifting the nation, launching country’s first satellite Bangabandhu Satellite-1, and for being conferred with Doctor of Literature (DLitt) degree from Kazi Nazrul University of India, and global women's leadership award in Australia.
The reception program was originally scheduled to be held on Jul 7, but it has been deferred to Jul 21, local media reports said.
Awami League issued a press release stating that the program will be held at 3:00 p.m. at Suhrawardy Udyan. The press release also announced the programs on Awami League’s founding anniversary (Jun 23).
