Finance Minister Abul Maal Abdul Muhith will place the 47th national budget for the next fiscal (2018-19) at the parliament on Thursday (Jun 7). Like the previous year, the FM will prepare the budget presentation through a power-point and place it at Jatiya Sangsad from 12:30 p.m., local media reports said.
The veteran minister is going to set a rare example in the country’s history by placing his 10th national budget in a row.
This will be Muhith’s overall 12th national budget placement in Jatiya Sangsad while it is the last budget for the present Bangladesh Awami League government in its 2nd successive term.
Budget related information will be made available on the website of the Finance Division — www.mof.gov.bd.
Muhith will address a post-budget press conference at Osmani Memorial Auditorium on Jun 8.
