The much awaited Bollywood film ‘Sanju’s trailer was released a few days back and got rave reviews from both masses and critics. Based on the life of Sanjay Dutt, Rajkumar Hirani’s ‘Sanju’ showcases the various facets of the yesteryear actor’s life which will be played by Ranbir Kapoor. The film traces the journey of Sanjay’s life right from his youth to the present.
Director Rajkumar Hirani took to his social media to announce the first song from ‘Sanju’ titled Badhiya, has been released on Sunday (Jun 3). In the first song ‘Badhiya’, we would see Sanju lip-syncing to a woman’s voice.
He gave us the glimpse of the hook line of the song in the picture which reads, Main Badhiya, Tu Bhi Badhiya and the picture feature Sonam Kapoor and Ranbir Kapoor in a jolly mood.
As seen in the trailer Sonam is playing the role of Sanju’s girlfriend and will feature in the first song of the film. The song will be an ode to the yesteryear 80s era featuring Ranbir Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor dressed in the retro attire, giving us nostalgic feels of the 80s.
The poster introducing Sonam had earlier given glimpses of the song, featuring the couple in the retro period. The trailer of ‘Sanju’ has been receiving tremendous appreciation owing to the gripping storyline along with Ranbir’s realistic performance. The audience and critics couldn’t stop raving about the striking resemblance of the actor to Sanjay Dutt.
Written and directed by Rajkumar Hirani, the film will also star an ensemble cast in addition to Ranbir which includes Paresh Rawal, Manisha Koirala, Vicky Kaushal, and Dia Mirza amongst others.
