BASIS-BB-Sat-1 app launched

Launching of Bangabandhu Satellite-1 has set footprints of Digital Bangladesh in the space. Launching of Bangabandhu Satellite-1 is another triumph of Digital Bangladesh, and Bangladesh ICT sector will be immensely benefited via this satellite. On this auspicious moment, Bangladesh Association of Software and Information Services (BASIS) has made BB-Sat-1 app which will allow its users to know more about the satellite. Hon’ble Posts, Telecommunications and ICT Minister Mustafa Jabbar inaugurated the BASIS BB-Sat-1 app on Monday (May 14) at ICT tower.

At the inauguration program the Minister said, BASIS BB-Sat-1 app has strengthened the flow of information. Launching of Bangabandhu Satellite-1 is a benchmark in the history of Bangladesh. Many of us are keen to know about the details of Bangabandhu Satellite-1. BASIS BB-Sat-1 app will allow its users to know more about the satellite.

At the inauguration program Bangladesh Computer Council (BCC) Executive Director Parthapratim Deb, BASIS President Syed Alams Kabir, innovator of the app - BASIS member company Technoheaven Company Limited Managing Director Habibullah N Karim, BASIS Senior Vice-President Farhana A Rahman, Vice-President (Admin) Shoeb Ahmed Masud, Vice-President (Finance) Mushfiqur Rahman, Director Didarul Alam were also present.

App will be available at Google Play Store within few days.
