PRAN Foods Limited received ‘National Productivity and Quality Excellence Award 2016’ for enhancing productivity and improving product quality. Industries Minister Amir Hossain Amu handed over the award to the Managing Director of PRAN Group Eleash Mridha through a program held in Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy, said a press release on Wednesday (Apr 18).
The Industries Ministry on Wednesday awarded 12 organizations. The award was given in five categories-large industry, medium industry, small industry, micro industry, and state-owned enterprises. PRAN Foods got the award in medium industry category.
Eleash Mridha said, “We are working to boost productivity and quality of our products. This recognition will inspire us to do more.”
Muhammad Abdullah, Secretary of Industries Ministry, Kamran T Rahman, President of Bangladesh Employers' Federation and S.M. Ashrafuzzaman, Director of National Productivity Organization, among others, were also present on the occasion, the release added.
