Ashik Rahman is the CEO and Head of News of Rtv (Bengal Media Corporation Ltd), most popular broadcasting media in Bangladesh. He is the Chief Editor of rtvonline (online news portal) and Chief Editor & Publisher of Look@me (Fashion and Lifestyle magazine).
With 18 years of experience in media industry Mr. Rahman has established himself as a man of difference in the area of media in Bangladesh. Mr Rahman started his career as a Manager of Creative Department of Illusion Creative House of Visual Media, Dhaka, Bangladesh in 2000. He left the position after 4 years. Then, he started work at Banglavision Television Channel as Head of Marketing and Finance where he was a founder member of Bnaglavision. After completion of successful 6 years at Banglavision, In June 2010, he took charge of Bengal Media Corporation Ltd, (Rtv) as CEO & Head of News and take Rtv at a new height with his dynamic leadership. Mr. Rahman is the host and moderator of popular talk shows on Rtv namely Diplomatic Zone, Forthright, Business Talk and Kemon Bangladesh Chai. He is the Chief Editor and publisher of entertainment & life style Magazine Look@me as well as Chief Editor of rtvonine news portal. Rtv holds strong leadership position in the Broadcast media of the country, being the highest TRP rated television channel round the year.
Mr. Rahman is a keen painter and remains busy with painting during his breaks in office.
