A freshers' reception ceremony was held at Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) for the newly enrolled students' of Level-1, Term-1, of session 2017-2018, by the university authority on Mar 31. The function was addressed by Prof Dr Saiful Islam, Vice-Chancellor, BUET, at the university central auditorium.
Among others, Prof Dr Maglub Al Nur, Acting Dean, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Prof Dr Farida Nilufar, Dean, Faculty of Architecture and Planning, Prof Dr Md. Saifur Rahman, Dean, Faculty of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Prof Dr Md. Rafique Ullah, Dean, Faculty of Engineering, Prof Dr Satya Prasa Majumder, Director, Directorate of Students' Welfare, BUET, also spoke on the occasion.
