Syed Almas Kabir, CEO of MetroNet Bangladesh Limited has been elected as the new President of Bangladesh Association of Software and Information Services (BASIS). On Moday (Apr 2) at the office bearer election of BASIS Executive Council (2018-20) he has been elected as the President, said a press release.
Also in the office bearer election, Farhana A Rahman, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of UY Systems, has been elected as the Senior Vice-President, Shoeb Ahmed Masud, Director of Business Automation Limited, has been elected as the Vice-President (Admin) and Mushfiqur Rahman, Managing Partner of Spectrum Software & Consulting (PVT) Limited, has been elected as the Vice-President (Finance).
Elected directors for 2018-20 are: Tamzid Siddiq Spondon, Managing Director of ZANALA Bangladesh Limited, Didarul Alam, Managing Director of Shooting Star Limited, Luna Shamsuddoha, Founder and Chairman of Dohatec New Media, Mustafa Rafiqul Islam, Managing Director of Flora Telecom Limited, and A.K.M Fahim Mashroor, Director of Ajker Deal.com Limited.
