Made in Bangladesh body spray and air freshener with the brand name “Wave” were launched in the market on Thursday (Mar 22) to provide quality lifestyle product to the local consumers. Quasem industries has started manufacturing the body spray and air freshener as it set up the first ever pressurized tin cans factory in Bangladesh recently. Besides, the company also established a filling line for aerosol spray and already went under production, said a press release.
The new products were formally launched at the Quasem Industries Conference 2018 held on Thursday at Krishibid Institute in the capital to celebrate the name change of the company. Recently, Quasem Drycell Ltd, one of the country’s leading battery manufacturers famous for its brand sunlight battery, has changed its name to Quasem Industries Ltd as it has been expanding its operation in various other products and service sectors.
Quasem Industries Managing Director and CEO Tasvir Ul Islam, Director Sameed Quasem and Chief Operating Officer Mahbubul Alam spoke on the occasion while Chairman Anwarul Islam and Director Dr. Reyan Anis were present.
While launching the new products Sameed Quasem said they are committed to provide high quality body spray and air freshener to countrymen in reasonable price. “As we are graduating from least developed country to developing country, we would like to add luxury to lifestyle of our common people in reasonable prices,” he added.
Tasvir Ul Islam hoped that the new brand “Wave” will be as popular as like other brands of Quasem industries like sunlight batteries and food products Sun Chips for its high standard quality.
During the conference, a video presentation on different production units under Quasem Industries was made illustrating how the company maintains their production standards and manages factory operations.
The conference attended by distributors from all over the country and representative from other businesses related to Quasem Industries concluded with a crest distribution ceremony a buzzing cultural program by some renowned musical luminaries, the release added.
