Bangladesh International Tutorial (BIT) is an English-medium school in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Established in 1983, it is run in accordance with the London Board for the Ordinary (O-level) and Advanced Level (A-level) examinations.
This year BIT is celebrating their 35th years of anniversary with various events. A three-day '35th Anniversary Football Tournament' of BIT was concluded on Mar 3, 2018 at BIT’s Senior Campus in Uttara. Twelve renowned English Medium Schools of Dhaka has participated in this tournament. Through this football event more than 3 thousand people enjoyed including all participate schools their parents and children.
BICS & BIT (white) was the champion & runner-up for U-14; BIT (white) & SFX Greenherald was the champion & runner-up for U-16; BIT (white) & Mastermind School was winner & runner-up for U-16 for boys respectively. For the girls AKS & B.I.T(white) was the winner & runner-up.
In the launching event, Bangladesh International Tutorial Founder-Principal Ms. Lubna Choudhury, Mr. G.W.M Mortoza, DMD & Head of Branch Mercantile Bank Limited, Mr. Abed Saadullah, Head of Business of aamra infotainment & Barrister Anisuzzaman, owner of Dairy King was present there. The tournament was sponsored by Mercantile Bank, aamra Infotainment Ltd and Dairy King. The event was colorful and elegant with food stalls, music, dance performances .
The prize giving ceremony was held in presence of all sponsor representative, The founder principal of BIT handed over the trophy and medals among the winner .
To commemorate the 35th anniversary, a month-long program have been organized which includes book fair, English drama and Bengali drama.
