Workshop on professional etiquette

Career and Professional Development Services (CPDS) of Southeast University organized a workshop on ‘Professional Etiquette’ on Sunday (Feb 25). The workshop aimed to educate the SEU students about the office manner, rules and regulations, moral obligations, job responsibilities, communication skills and interpersonal etiquette. More than 130 students from different departments of SEU participated in the workshop.

The first part of the workshop was conducted by Md. Jamal Uddin, Deputy Director, CPDS. He explained about the right gestures for a positive communication, the correct attitude in a teamwork and interpersonal etiquette. The second part of the workshop was about corporate manner, communication skills, handling difficult situations in a corporate set up. Rushdina Khan, lead trainer of Training with Rushdina, conducted the second part.

Students learned a lot from both the sessions and shown great interest throughout the workshop by asking different questions to the resource persons.

Maj Gen Kazi Fakhruddin Ahmed, SPP, psc (retd), Registrar, Southeast University, was present in the workshop and spoke about the importance of professional etiquette. Participants were provided certificates at the end of the workshop.
