After 17 years, director Debashish Biswas announce to make a sequel of 'Shosur Bari Zindabad' titled 'Shosur Bari Zindabad-2'. The film will be produced by Bengal Media Production. Recently the production house confirmed that Opu Biswas and Bappi Chowdhury will play the leading role of the film as a pair. According to several reports, Opu and Bappi were also confirmed that they already signed the agreement of this film and as soon as possible they will attend for shot of the film.
In 2001 'Shosur Bari Zindabad' was act by most popular actor and actress Riaz and Shabnoor as a pair under Dabashis Bishwas direction. And the film has a Indian Bangla sequel act by Prosenjeet and Rituporna. Both of the film's business was very successful.
