Affiliated colleges' students can't use DU identity

Students of seven colleges affiliated with Dhaka University (DU) cannot identify themselves as students of the university. Students of those colleges affiliated with DU will not be granted use of Dhaka University identification. They have to use ID cards issued by their respected colleges," said a DU press release.

All academic and administrative activities of these affiliated colleges will be operated on their own campuses and they will not be allowed to use DU housing, transport, healthcare or library facilities according to the press release. The education and others activities of DU students will not be hampered due to the affiliated colleges, the release added.

On Feb 16, 2017, Dhaka College, Eden Mohila College, Government Shaheed Suhrawardy College, Kabi Nazrul Government College, Begum Badrunnesa Government Mohila College, Mirpur Government Bangla College and Government Titumir College were affiliated with Dhaka University.
